Posts that violate our Community Guidelines will be flagged by our moderation algorithm and submitted for manual review by community moderators.
When a post is flagged, our team will double check to see if it truly violates our guidelines. If it does, the post is marked as "moderated" and is removed from the community. The student will then be notified about the moderation via email and will have a chance to edit and republish the post to earn back their points for the week.
When a post is re-submitted and accepted students will earn back credit for it as long as it is republished before the grading deadline. It's important to note that when a post is republished, our moderation algorithm can flag it again if it still violates our Community Guidelines.
Note: Community moderators go through the flagged posts and moderate at least twice a day.
