If you received a grade of "0" or a grade that is lower than you anticipated, there are a few things that could be happening here:
- Your post was moderated. It may have violated one of the Community Guidelines and was removed (or moderated) from your community. Check your email for one from Packback with the subject line “Uh oh…your post has been moderated!” If this is the case, it's not too late to receive credit! Just follow the instructions in the email to edit and re-publish the post in order to receive credit.
- Your post was late. Unfortunately, you posted after the assigned deadline and you missed the opportunity to receive credit. Your professor determines your posting requirement and deadline, so check in with them if you are unsure what that may be.
- You posted too early or before the required time frame. Posts are graded weekly based on a designated timeframe that your professor has set up. But our algorithm isn't able to carry over extra posts into next week's grading period! If you are unsure what that timeframe may be, we recommend checking your syllabus or talking to your professor as Packback does not determine that.
- Your class grade is a 0 but you know you posted. In this case, you will have to speak with your professor about your class grade. Packback's algorithm is responsible for your Curiosity Score, but your professor will ultimately determine your class grade. Double check your Participation Report as well!
